This year sees Britannia Mannequins team up with Cheltenham Fashion Week again,
We are always keen to help our community where we can and this seemed like an ideal opportunity to be involved with the fashionable clientele of Cheltenham and also work with the fashion students at the College and the University.
For the last 2 years we have provided Gloucestershire College with our mannequins and the students have showcased their work alongside the Student Fashion Show. Each year brings packed audiences to watch the models showcasing the artistic design creations of students from as young as 6 through to 18.
September 2014 saw the launch and return of the Fashion Degree Course to the University in Cheltenham and we are excited to see the flourish of talent that will once more come through their doors. Our mannequins will be showcased at various events that Cheltenham Fashion Week will be hosting in 2015 and we look forward to the Fashion Exhibition at the Wilson Gallery where a variety of work will be shown including Philip Treacy headwear, Isabella Blow’s wedding dresses and the work of the winning fashion students throughout the UK.
Britannia Mannequins also supply many local shops and businesses in Cheltenham and the Cotswolds and their mannequins will be used in many events in the fashion diary this year.
Sam Bawden, Director of CFW says ‘We love working with Britannia Mannequins as their mannequins are easy to use, lightweight and yet elegant. The staff are really lovely too and they always go out of their way to help us wherever possible.’
